Notices of Receipt of an Application and Notices of Intended Agency Action received by the Beaches, Inlets & Ports Program and the Mining and Mitigation Program  

 

The Department has determined that some proposed activities, because of their size, potential effect on the environment or the public, controversial nature, or location, are likely to have a heightened public concern or likelihood of request for administrative proceedings.

Notices of Receipt of Application

The Department announces receipt of permit applications. This notice is provided in accordance with section 5.5.2.3(b) of Applicantís Handbook Volume I, which is incorporated by reference in paragraph 62-330.010(4)(a) of the Florida Administrative Code.

Notices of Proposed Agency Action

Applicants have been required to publish notice of the Departmentís proposed agency action in the legal advertisements section of a newspaper of general circulation meeting the requirements of sections 50.011 and 50.031, F.S., in the county where the activity is to take place, in accordance with section 373.413(4), Florida Statutes, subsection 62-110.106(7), Florida Administrative Code, and section 5.5.5.3 of Applicantís Handbook Volume I, which is incorporated by reference in paragraph 62-330.010(4)(a) of the Florida Administrative Code.

Below are links to the notices that have been released within the past 30 days.  These are provided as a service to the public and do not substitute for the publication requirements identified above.

Applications also are available for public inspection during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, at the offices of the Department identified below.  Comments may be e-mailed to the contact person for each notice or sent by mail.
