Basin Status and Assessment Reports
In Phase 1 of the TMDL Development Cycle, a Status Report is developed for each river basin, containing a Planning List of potentially impaired waters that may require the establishment of TMDLs. The report characterizes each basinís hydrologic, ecological, and socioeconomic setting as well as historical, current, and proposed watershed management issues and activities. It also contains a preliminary evaluation of major water quality parameters, water quality issues by planning unit, an evaluation of ecological resources, and basinwide pollutant loading trends related to land uses.
In Phase 2 of the cycle, an Assessment Report is developed for each river basin, containing a Verified List of impaired waters that will require the establishment of TMDLs.
Status Reports for the Group 1, 2, 3, & 4 basins have been completed. Assessment Reports for the Group 1 basins have been completed. All of these reports are available at the Basin Rotation website. To view an individual report, select the basin group below, and then a basin from the map. A link to status report or assessment report can be found from each basin's page.
