Apalachicola

  • Natural Receiving Wetland
  • Huckleberry Swamp, City of Apalachicola WWTP
  • Permitted capacity 1.0 MGD
  • Approximately 243 acres of freshwater, scrub-shrub wetlands
  • Been in operation since around 1985
  • Located in Apalachicola, Franklin County

Bayou Marcus Wetlands

  • Natural Receiving Wetland
  • Bayou Marcus Water Reclamation Facility, ECUA
  • Permitted capacity 8.2 MGD
  • Approximately 1,100 acres of freshwater, forested wetlands
  • Been in operation since around 1998
  • Located in Pensacola, Escambia County

Hurlburt Field

  • Natural Receiving Wetland

  • Located in Hurlburt Field, Okaloosa County

Monticello

  • Combination Man-made and Natural Receiving Wetlands
  • Wolf Creek Swamp, City of Monticello WWTP
  • Permitted capacity 1.0 MGD
  • Approximately 250 acres of blackgum-sweetbay swamp
  • Been in operation since around 1988
  • Located in Monticello, Jefferson County

Pace Swamp

  • Natural Treatment Wetland
  • Pace Water Systems, Inc
  • Permitted capacity 1.0 MGD
  • Approximately 140 acres of freshwater, forested wetlands
  • Been in operation since around 1999
  • Located in Pace, Santa Rosa County
