Public Service Announcement
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has developed a
1-minute public service announcement (PSA) to promote the reuse of reclaimed water in
Florida. The PSA is available in high-speed BETA format, which is compatible with the
format used at television stations.
Utilities or other entities interested in borrowing a copy to air at a local television

Reuse
Brochure
In 1990, the DEP developed a brochure on the reuse of
reclaimed water titled "Florida State of the Environment: Reuse
of Reclaimed Water". This brochure was updated in 1996 and again
in 2000. In 2010, an updated “Water Reuse” brochure was
developed, replacing the 2000 “State of the Environment: Reuse
of Reclaimed Water” brochure.

Reuse Flyers
FDEP and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD)
produced reuse flyer templates that utilities, neighborhood
associations, and others can use to educate customers receiving
reclaimed water for irrigation about reuse, including what they can and
cannot do with reclaimed water.

Reclaimed Water Guide
In 1999, the Southwest Florida Water
Management District developed a reclaimed water guide to provide guidance to new and
established reclaimed water systems. The document is available on CD-ROM and includes
example permits, contracts/agreements, surveys, rates and fees, and ordinances.
