The Bureau is responsible for the development of surface water
quality standards of Chapter 62-302, FAC, the assessment of State
surface waters for the identification of impaired waters, and
implementation of the Department’s ambient monitoring program. The
Bureau also carries out a variety of special projects, including the
management of the Department’s Quality Assurance Program and
development of the Department’s Bioassessment Program. |
