The Florida Waste Tire Management Program includes a regulatory program that addresses how waste tires can be transported, stored, processed,
disposed of or beneficially used and an abatement program that assists in cleaning up illegal waste tire piles. The program also includes a
grant that distributes funding to small counties with a population less than 100,000 to assist with local waste tire management efforts. In
addition, Florida publishes a State of the State Report which summarizes the program’s progress.
