A core responsibility of the Solid Waste Section is overseeing compliance monitoring and enforcement activities performed by the
DEP District Offices.
The links below provide information on current compliance and enforcement activities, and guidance on how to be in compliance with solid waste regulations.

This link will help you search for compliance and enforcement documents for a specific facility. Go to the second portion of the page, enter in the WACS ID or facility name,
click "Facility Search", and on the result screen, click the "D" under Detail Links. This will provide a list that includes the compliance and
enforcement documents for that facility.

To remain in compliance with Chapter 62-701, F.A.C., a facility must maintain adequate financial assurance for closing and/or long-term care.
Failure to maintain adequate financial assurance can result in enforcement action by the Department.
