In 1997 the Florida Legislature created
Section 403.7095(9), F.S., which requires the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to make grant funds available to counties on a competitive basis for innovative programs related to recycling. The purpose of this web site is to help guide the Counties, their consultants and other interested parties through this Grant process for the 1999-2000 state fiscal year.
