Senate Bill 0338, Brownfield Loan Guarantees, approved by former Governor Bush on May 5, 2004: Chapter 2004-40 is the implementing law. The revisions included a change to the definition of "brownfield sites"; revised condition under which local government is required to designate brownfield area; revised required component of brownfield site rehabilitation agreement; revised certain requirements including insurance limits of contractor performing site rehabilitation program tasks; revised certain restrictions on investing funds maintained in Inland Protection Trust Fund, etc. Amended 376.79,.80,.82,.86. EFFECTIVE DATE: 07/01/2004.
