The Southeast District of the Department of Environmental Protection through the Mobile Sources Section, has formed a Southeast Air Coalition for Outreach. SEACO consists of partnerships of public and private organizations to improve air quality within Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. The coalition's mission is "to promote air quality programs and awareness by forming a multi agency and cross media council."

SEACO also assists outreach programs by exchanging ideas, pooling resources, producing joint documents, developing presentations, as well as developing a list of organizations interested in speakers.

The coalition recognizes the importance of air pollution public awareness and education, and firmly believes if the three counties work together for the same goal, a greater number of people can be reached more effectively.
