The Office of General Counsel (OGC) plays an important part in the processing of Siting cases, as is further explained in the Programs pages. While any of the OGC staff may be asked to assist in a Siting case, particularly if there is an issue requiring a special legal expertise, two individuals have their major job functions specifically designated as "Siting support":

Toni Sturtevant, Assistant General Counsel -- provides legal advice and oversees all legal matters associated with Siting cases.

Lea Crandall, serves as the "Clerk of the Department" Office of General Counsel, and as such serves as the "Clerk of the Siting Board". All Siting legal activities are ultimately under the purview of the General Counsel.
