Conditions of Certification Highlights

Power Plants Transmission Lines

Under the Siting Acts, certification is the approval for building and operating power plants, transmission lines and natural gas pipelines. Conditions of Certification are the licensing requirements for a specific facility.

Conditions of Certification are listed by Siting Case number. For an official version of the Conditions of Certification for a specific facility, contact the Siting Coordination Office at 850-245-2002.

A list of Final Orders that include the Siting Board’s recommendation and the Conditions of Certification for certified facilities can be found on the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Office of General Counsel’s Web site.
