FERNANDINA BEACH – The Department of Environmental Protection’s Fort Clinch
State Park will host a program Memorial Day Weekend on May 28 and 29, in honor
of the men and women who served in World War II. Visitors can explore military
displays, view memorabilia and learn about the uniforms, weapons, vehicles and
lifestyle of those who were part of the war during the 1940s.
Admission to the park is $6.00 per vehicle for up to eight people in one car
at the front gate and $2.00 per person to enter the fort. Children under 6 are
free.
