State Parks Announce Annual Photo Contest Winners

--Three wining images selected from thousands of photographs--

TALLAHASSEE— Against the picturesque backdrop of Maclay Gardens State Park, Florida Park Service Director Mike Bullock unveiled the winners of the second annual Florida State Parks Photography Contest. The contest, which showcases the natural, cultural and historical diversity of Florida’s 158 state parks, received thousands of entries from across the state.

“Florida’s State Parks provide one of the most awe inspiring natural canvases in the world,” said Bullock. “These winning photographs capture The Real Florida, the beaches, forests and wildlife that make our state so distinct.”

The three winning photographs are:

  1. Camping at Dusk by Robert Krost, St. George Island State Park.
