St.
Andrews State Park is located in Panama City Beach in the Florida
Panhandle. The park’s beach is famous for its beautiful,
crystal-clear emerald green waters and sugar white sands.
The waters are filled with marine life. Dozens of fish species,
crabs, stingrays, mollusks, and other sea creatures can be seen
while snorkeling. Visitors are regularly entertained by a pod, or
group, of dolphins swimming and jumping as they play and forage for
food in the Gulf of Mexico.
Rolling white sand dunes blanket the coastline. The dunes are
covered with sea oats that help to protect the beach from erosion
during storms and hurricanes. Picking sea oats is not permitted. < Return to map
