Rain forest (n) – a tropical forest that has very tall trees
and gets a lot of rain annually.
Recycle (v) – To recover useful materials
from garbage or waste.
Renewable energy (n) – a source of energy that can continue to
be used over and over again (such as biomass, geothermal,
hydropower, solar, and wind).
Reservoir (n) – a natural or man-made area that is used to
collect and store water for future use.
River (n) – a large body of flowing fresh water.
Runoff (n) – water that flows across a surface rather than
soaking into the surface, which picks up and carries pollution, and
eventually drains into rivers, lakes and other waterways.
