RETAP

The Resource Engineers Technical Assistance Program (RETAP) is a group of engineers, scientists and managers with professional experience in industrial practices who are employed part-time with the Florida Pollution Prevention (P2) Program. RETAP’s mission is to promote sustainable economic development and a cleaner environment throughout Florida.

The multi-disciplinary team includes professionals from the private sector with experience in materials handling, production scheduling, inventory control, chemical processes and equipment maintenance. RETAP engineers assist businesses, industries and government through research and P2 Green Opportunity Surveys. Their combined years of experience in a variety of fields result in waste reduction strategies that can eliminate or minimize pollution at the source, provide economic benefits and are tailored to each client’s needs.
