Northeast District Encourages Pre-application Meetings
--State workers save taxpayer money, increase protection through innovation and continuous improvement efforts--

During the project planning phase, it is a good idea to schedule a pre-application meeting with DEP staff. The meetings are a chance for the applicant, agent, registered professional and DEP staff to get together and discuss the project.

Most people who schedule and attend a pre-application meeting before submitting the permit application say it was helpful and saved permitting time.  It also increases understanding of the project and requirements for everyone involved. Contact our staff to arrange a date and time.
