The Division of State Lands acquires and manages
lands as directed by the Board of Trustees of the
Internal Improvement Trust Fund. The Division provides
oversight for approximately 12 million acres of public
lands, including islands and 700 freshwater springs. The
Division also provides upland leases for state parks,
forests, wildlife management areas, historic sites,
