SUMMARY

After the landfall of Hurricane Wilma in South Florida, close to 2.82 million customers across 18 counties are affected by power outages.

Power outages are affecting approximately 2.7 million FPL customers, 80,168 municipal customers and 46,503 cooperative customers. Power has been restored to all Progress Energy customers.

BREVARD COUNTY

  • 2% of total customers without power.
  • Approximately 5,000 of 273,909 FPL customers without power.
  • Power restored to all Progress Energy customers.

BROWARD COUNTY

  • 97% of total customers without power.
  • Approximately 850,100 of 880,373 FPL customers without power.
  • Approximately 24 cooperative customers without power.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY

  • 2% of total customers without power.
  • Approximately 1,300 of 95,737 FPL customers without power.
  • Approximately 722 cooperative customers without power.

COLLIER COUNTY

  • 70% of total customers without power.
  • Approximately 125,400 of 177,961 FPL customers without power.
  • Approximately 19,500 cooperative customers without power

DADE COUNTY

  • 93% of total customers without power.
