POWER BRIEFING SHEET

After the landfall of Hurricane Katrina in South Florida,
close to 326,916 customers across eight counties are affected
by power outages.
Power outages are affecting approximately 314,000 FPL customers,
12,616 Gulf Power customers and 300 municipal customers.
BAY COUNTY
- Less than 1% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 38 of 87,023 Gulf Power Company customers
without power.
BROWARD COUNTY
- 11% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 101,100 of 880,207 FPL customers without power.
DADE COUNTY
- 22% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 212,900 of 968,480 FPL customers without power.
- Power restored to all municipal customers.
ESCAMBIA COUNTY
- 8% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 11,446 of 138,535 Gulf Power customers without
power.
MONROE COUNTY
- Less than 1% of total customers without power.
- 100% of power restored to cooperative customers.
- Approximately 300 municipal customers without power.
OKALOOSA COUNTY
- 1% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 965 of 85,179 Gulf Power customers without
power.
SANTA ROSA COUNTY
- Less than 1% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 165 of 57,861 Gulf Power customers without
power.
WASHINGTON COUNTY
- Less than 1% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 2 of 6,412 Gulf Power customers without power.
