SUMMARY

After the landfall of Hurricane Katrina in South Florida, close to 883,000 customers across four counties are affected by power outages.

Power outages are affecting approximately 870,100 FPL customers, 12,000 municipal customers and 900 cooperative customers.

COUNTY BY COUNTY BREAKDOWN

BROWARD COUNTY

• 38% of total customers without power.
• Approximately 333,300 of 880,207 FPL customers without power.

COLLIER COUNTY

• 100% of power restored.

DADE COUNTY

• 54% of total customers without power.
• 534,700 of 968,480 FPL customers without power.
• Approximately 2,000 municipal customers without power.

MONROE COUNTY

• 18% of total customers without power.
• Approximately 900 of 30,952 cooperative customers without power.
• Approximately 10,000 municipal customers without power.

PALM BEACH COUNTY

• Less than 1% of total customers without power.
• Approximately 2,100 of 675,759 FPL customers without power.
