SUMMARY

After the landfall of Hurricane Katrina in South Florida, close to 1,177,066 customers across five counties are affected by power outages.

Power outages are affecting approximately 1,155,588 FPL customers, 16,475 municipal customers and 5,003 cooperative customers.

COUNTY BY COUNTY BREAKDOWN

BROWARD COUNTY

• 54% of total customers without power.
• Approximately 475,133 of 880,207 FPL customers without power.

COLLIER COUNTY

• Less than 1% of total customers without power.
• 503 of 28,414 cooperative customers without power.

DADE COUNTY

• 68% of total customers without power.
• 657,578 of 968,480 FPL customers without power.
• 16,425 municipal customers without power.

MONROE COUNTY

• 8% of total customers without power.
• Approximately 4,500 of 30,952 cooperative customers without power.
• 50 municipal customers without power.

PALM BEACH COUNTY

• 3% of total customers without power.
• Approximately 22,877 of 675,759 FPL customers without power.
