SUMMARY

With the passage of Hurricane Dennis by the Florida Keys and the southwest coast on July 9, close to 74,419 customers across 29 counties are now affected by power outages after a high of 162,258 outages yesterday.

Power outages are affecting approximately 52,400 FPL customers, 1,600 TECO customers, 4,065 Progress Energy Florida customers, 642 Gulf Power customers, 1,200 cooperative customers and 14,512 municipal customers.

Approximately 68,600 FPL customers, 11,400 TECO customers, 4,666 Gulf Power customers and 7,238 municipal customers have power restored.
