SUMMARY

With the passage of Hurricane Dennis by the Florida Keys and the southwest coast, close to 162,258 customers across 16 counties are affected by power outages.

Power outages are affecting approximately 121,000 FPL customers, 13,000 TECO customers, 5,308 Gulf Power customers, 1,200 cooperative customers and 21,750 municipal customers.

BAY COUNTY

  • Less than 1% of total customers without power.
  • 106 of 87,023 Gulf Power customers without power.

BROWARD COUNTY

  • 3% of total customers without power.
  • Approximately 26,500 of 879,016 FPL customers without power.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY

  • 1% of total customers without power.
  • Approximately 1,000 of 93,998 FPL customers without power.

COLLIER COUNTY

  • Less than 1% of total customers without power.
  • Approximately 300 of 176,960 FPL customers without power.

DADE COUNTY

  • 9% of total customers without power.
  • Approximately 86,200 of 967,055 FPL customers without power.

DESOTO COUNTY

  • Less than 1% of total customers without power.
  • Approximately 100 of 14,560 FPL customers without power.

ESCAMBIA COUNTY

  • 3% of total customers without power.
  • 3,594 of 138,535 Gulf Power customers without power.
