Florida Emergency Information Hotline Open

Tallahassee--Due to the impending landfall of Hurricane Jeanne, the State of Florida has continued the activation of the Florida Emergency Information 24-hour hotline (FEIL). Floridians can obtain accurate, up-to-date information on the progress of Hurricane Jeanne and the recovery efforts from Hurricanes Charley, Frances and Ivan by calling the FEIL number.

The toll-free number is 1-800-342-3557.

Residents should call their local emergency management officials to verify the evacuation status of their area.

The State Emergency Operations Center is operating at Level 1, full activation.
