FORT LAUDERDALE – Due to increased traffic volumes from returning evacuees, state officials have determined to continue to waive tolls for at least one more day on the entire Florida’s Turnpike from milepost 309 in Wildwood to milepost 0 in Florida City. In addition, tolls also will remain suspended on:

South Florida

  • Interstate 75 (Alligator Alley)
  • Sawgrass Expressway (Toll Road 869) in Broward County

Tampa Bay Area

  • Veterans Expressway (Toll Road 589)
  • Suncoast Parkway (Toll Road 589)
  • Selmon Crosstown Expressway (Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Auth.)
  • Sunshine Skyway Bridge
  • Pinellas Bayway in the Tampa Bay area

Central Florida

  • Bee Line Expressway (State Road 528) in the Orlando area (OOCEA)
  • East-West Expressway (State Road 408) in the Orlando area (OOCEA)
  • Central Florida GreeneWay (State Road 417) in the Orlando area (OOCEA)
  • Western Expressway (State Road 429) in the Orlando area (OOCEA)
  • Osceola Parkway in the Orlando area
  • Polk Parkway in Lakeland (Toll Road 570)

**The situation will be re-evaluated tomorrow to determine when tolls will be reinstated.**

When traveling in those areas where tolls are suspended, SunPass, E-PASS and O-PASS customers may hear their transponders "beep"; however, they should rest assured that their accounts are not being charged.
