OSHA Website  Provides Fact Sheet on Natural Disaster Recovery

TALLAHASSEE – Florida’s emergency managers encourage residents and volunteers assisting in the clean-up following Hurricane Frances to take advantage of a government website. The website provides information about how to keep safe and healthy while cleaning up after a natural disaster.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), website: www.osha.gov offers a list of procedures to keep workers safe during clean up and recovery operations following hurricanes. The list includes the following tips: \
