• An officer's starting salary at FDEP is $31,880. 

• Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties start at $36,880 which includes a competitive area differential (CAD).

• Monroe County starts at $39,880 (includes CAD). 

• Lee, Collier, and Charlotte Counties start at $34,880.

Salary Information - Criminal Investigations Bureau

•  A special agent's (investigator) starting salary at FDEP is $39,560. 

• Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties start at $44,560 which includes a competitive area differential (CAD).

• Monroe County starts at $47,560 (includes CAD). 

• Lee, Collier, and Charlotte Counties start at $42,560.
