Section 216.0153, Florida Statutes, requires the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the Department of Management Services (DMS) to submit to the Governor and Legislature by October 1 of each year a list of state owned property recommended for disposition. This report, compiled by DEP and DMS, includes a list of state owned property with potential for disposition (including vacant land and land with facilities). Also included are properties sold and properties placed under management lease since the last annual report.

Chapter 2013-152, Laws of Florida, modified s. 216.0152, F.S. (statute related to facility management), and incorporates DEP's Disposition of State Lands and Facilities Report as part of the DMS State Facilities Inventory Report.
