This subject property is vacant land located in Seminole County and consists of approximately 3.51 +/- acres. It is an irregular shape and was formerly used as a railroad right-of-way. The property is located approximately 1,450 feet east of and parallel to Geneva Drive, extending northeast of East Franklin Street and southwest of East Broadway Street to the east side of Oviedo Boulevard, within the municipal limits of Oviedo, Florida. The property will be conveyed with a deed restriction encompassing approximately 1.72 acres of the property. The restriction will prevent the construction of structures, dumping, removal of trees, etc. and takes on the same use as wetlands/recreational land. The property is to be sold via sealed bid "as is", "where is". Bids will be accepted until 10:00a.m. EST, January 23, 2013. Any bid received after that time will be retruned to the BIDDER unopened. The Department of Environmental Protection is not responsible for bids mailed but not received by 10:00a.m. EST, January 23, 2013. All bids received by the bid submission deadline will be publicly opened at 11:00a.m. EST, January 23, 2013.

The minimum acceptable bid will be $135,000.00. Any bids that are less than minimum acceptable bid will be considered counterproposals and will be deemed non-responsive and rejected.

The TRUSTEES or the DEPARTMENT, as staff to the TRUSTEES, reserve the right to reject any or all bids. The TRUSTEES or the DEPARTMENT further reserve the right to waive any minor irregularities in any bid received.
