To achieve true cross-program assessment, enforceable standards for the following must be in place:

  • Environmental Measurements - The Bureau of Laboratories has proposed a set of standards for chemical environmental measurements that support basic and advanced data quality assessment. We welcome all interested staff to review the draft document (Microsoft Word, 56 kB).  All data elements necessary for  data quality assessment are required by QA Rule 62-160 and listed in EAS-02/02, Requirements for Field and Analytical Work.

    • EAS-01/01 - Data Quality Assessment Elements for Identification of Impaired Surface Waters as referenced in 62-303 F.A.C.
    • ADaPT/EDMS - Electronic data deliverables.

  • Locational Attributes - The GIS Section of DEPs Bureau of Information Systems has proposed a locational data standard, which is currently under review.
