Florida National Scenic Trail

Designated as a Florida National Scenic Trail in 1983 by Congress, the Florida Trail, when completely certified, will meander from Gulf Island National Seashore near Pensacola to Big Cypress National Preserve near Miami and Naples.  The Florida Trail is developed through the efforts of the Florida Trail Association (FTA).  Portions of the trail are officially designated as components of Florida's Statewide System of Greenways and Trails, and the entire trail is considered a major statewide connector.

Listed below are the maps currently offered in the Florida Greenways and Trails Guide that highlight segments of the Florida Trail.  Other segments will be added in the future.  In addition to the maps provided here, the Florida Trail Association produces a detailed hiking guide, with segment-by-segment maps, that serves as an essential companion to hiking the Florida Trail.  For more information or to obtain a copy of the guide, visit www.floridatrail.org.
