The Florida Greenways and Trails Acquisition Program
is a component of Florida Forever, receiving 1.5 percent of the annual
appropriation. This program has helped to acquire the land for all or part
of several corridors in Florida's

Pursuant to the
2013-2017
Florida Greenways and Trails System (FGTS) Plan, the rule guiding
the Florida Greenways and Trails Acquisition Program will be revised
in 2013 to guide future acquisition funding to closing gaps in
corridors on the FGTS Priority Trails Map. For information about
