Hydrogeology Section

Education and Communication

Products and activities of the Section facilitate public education, communication among Florida’s hydrogeologists, as well education of those involved in protection of Florida's ground-water resources. Among the resources provided through this education program are technical workshops, production of videos and development of posters and curriculum materials.

Periodically, the Section sponsors a Hydrogeology Needs Assessment. We anticipate holding the second assessment in late 2005. A large part of the needs identified from our first assessment have either been completed or are ongoing activities.
