Gulf Oil Spill Recovery & Restoration Logo

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission hosted public listening sessions for the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council and Florida’s projects on February 28 in Panama City, March 13 and June 17 in St. Petersburg, and on June 3 in Pensacola, along with a webinar on February 26.

The Department along with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission presented information on the state’s five priority areas for projects and will continue to seek input on projects the public would like submitted to the Council for consideration for inclusion in the initial Comprehensive Plan.
