  • Recycled Oyster Shell Bagging
    Aug 15 (7 - 11 am)
    6000 W. Highway 98, across from the Naval Hospital. Volunteers may enter into the gated site and follow parking signage. Directions: https://goo.gl/maps/vjIWd
    Join Northwest Florida Aquatic Preserves and Keep Pensacola Beautiful for an oyster bagging event.

    What to bring/wear: Close-toed shoes, sunscreen and gloves (we have extra for those needing them).
    What you will be doing: You will be bagging oyster shell. The bags will be deployed in Bayou Grande. Our goal is 500 bags (20 lb. each) or 10,000 lbs. Oyster shell will be placed at a later date in reefs in Bayou Grande.

  • International Coastal Cleanup 2015 at Project Greenshores
    Sep 19 (8 am - noon)
    Meet at Project Greenshores Parking lot (off of Bayfront Pkwy. just before the 3-mile bridge).
    This event will be a cleanup along Project Greenshores. We will provide gloves and trash bags, as well as checklist sheets to tally trash. We will also have water to refill water containers.
