Because of its somewhat subtropical climate Terra Ceia Aquatic Preserve supports considerable
biodiversity, including many rare species.
- Invasive and Problem Species
The proximity of the preserve to Tampa Bay and shipping makes the preserve especially
vulnerable to exotic invasive species.
