Coastal Breeding Birds of Northeast Florida by Stephanie M. Nagrid
Many shorebirds use the beaches, dunes, and coastline between April and August to raise their young, just when humans enjoy the beaches. Along with providing basic bird identification and habitat needs of some common beach-nesting birds, she will relate examples of successful intervention and ways to prevent human/bird conflicts.

The GTM Research Reserve's Marineland Field Office is located on the west side of A1A at 9741 Ocean Shore Blvd, at the southern end of the Town of Marineland. See the GTM Research Reserve sign.
