Description

The GTM Research Reserve is excited to offer a series of fun activities over Christmas vacation:

On Thursday, December 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., visitors can take a guided Cultural Hike through the Guana Peninsula that focuses on the history and archaeology of the area. Participants should meet at the trails parking lot.

On Friday, December 28 anytime from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m, visitors participate in a Family Seining activity, discovering the rich diversity of animals that live in the Guana Lake. Participants should meet at the dam recreation area. Activity lasts about half an hour.

On Saturday, December 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., visitors can enjoy a Beach Exploration, learning about the ecosystem and all of its in habitants. Participants should meet at the South Beach Access parking lot.
