Public Meetings
The management plan review process includes 2 rounds of public meetings to obtain input from
local stakeholders on the revision of the existing
plan.

A Public Scoping Meeting to receive input on perceived issues and concerns regarding the site

A Formal Public Meeting to receive feedback on the draft management plan

The objective of the public scoping meeting is to:

Solicit public input regarding issues and opportunities that should be
addressed in the management plan
Formal Public Meeting
The formal public meeting will allow us to receive input on the draft
Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve Management Plan. The objectives of the formal public meeting are to:

Present the draft management plan with a focus on issues, goals, objectives, and strategies

Receive feedback from stakeholders on the draft management plan
