Description

This class covers covers karst geology, formation of caves and sinkholes, ecology, wildlife and plants as well as the importance of these systems, threats and conservation. Be prepared to spend the morning in the classroom and afternoon on a field trip to Florida Caverns State Park where we will tour the Caverns, visit local sinkholes and springs and have an optional canoe or kayak paddle. There is an additional $5/person charge for this class, plus optional canoe/kayak rental if necessary.

Cost: $10.00 per person per class payable to Friends of the Reserve
