Description

The 1.5 day HACCP course will include how to develop and implement HACCP plans for natural resource projects and research activities. An international standard process with practical examples, a case study, and hands-on exercises will be used to develop real-life HACCP plans tailored to participants work for reducing or eliminating the spread of unwanted species.

Participants will be able to:

  • Use five integrated steps to identify potential pathways for invasive species and control measures;
  • Draft plans with prescribed ranges, limits or criteria and corrective actions; and
  • Create a reference source documenting best management practices and procedures.
