National Marina Day August 9, 2008

National Marina Day 2009, Celebrating America’s Gateway to Boating, is being celebrated at marinas throughout the state.

This National Day of Recognition is dedicated to the education of the boating public, civic leaders, and politicians. The day emphasizes the importance of the marine industry as a link to water access through local marinas, as well as their stewardship of the environment.
