?         The ultimate concern of the Department's Drinking Water program is the quality of water for human consumption when the water reaches the consumers.  Public water systems must comply with Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs) and Maximum Residual Disinfectant Levels (MRDLs) within their systems.  Click the contaminant groups below to find out more information and sampling requirements for your type of system:
