Laura Herren tests water quality

Laura Herren, Environmental Specialist, tests water quality at Pellicer Creek Aquatic Preserve in St. Johns County. Using a “datasonde,” which records water quality data every 30 minutes, Laura can ensure continued protection of one of Florida’s 41 aquatic preserves. Aquatic Preserves provide a unique setting to understand nature and to set goals for protecting other estuaries in the region.
