Hurricane Sandy - October

Sandy Emergency Response

In an effort to expedite the recovery process for coastal counties damaged by Sandy, the Department has issued a Sandy Emergency Final Order (EFO), on October 31,2012, (expiration date 12/28/12).This EFO was amended on December 18,2012, with an expiration date of January 27,2013. First Amended Emergency Final Order (12/18/12).

The BCS Program has also developed a Sandy Public Information Handout that provides a concise explanation of activities that are authorized seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line in the Emergency Final Order.

Hurricane Isaac - August

Isaac Emergency Response

In an effort to expedite the recovery process for coastal counties damaged by Isaac, the Department has issued an Isaac Emergency Final Order (EFO), 8/27/12.

The BCS Program has also developed a Isaac Public Handout that provides a concise explanation of activities that are authorized seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line in the Emergency Final Order.

Tropical Storm Debby - June

Debby Emergency Response

In an effort to expedite the recovery process for coastal counties damaged by Tropical Storm Debby, the Department has issued a Debby Emergency Final Order (EFO), 2nd Amended 7/25/12.

The BCS Program has also developed a Debby Public Handout that provides a concise explanation of activities that are authorized seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line in the Emergency Final Order.
