DEEPWATER HORIZON - Gulf Oil Spill Information
The
Department has issued a 2nd Amended Emergency Final Order (EFO)
pertaining to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. Specific guidance
is included in the EFO for activities that may take place seaward of
Coastal Construction Control Lines (for those counties included in the
Governor’s Executive Orders that have such lines established). Below are

Emergency Application
To help expedite application for emergency permits please use the
DEP Emergency Application Form (DEP 73-303)
This form is to be used
for all requests made pursuant to the EFO for authorization to conduct
regulated activities seaward of a Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL)
as established by law. The application with instructions are intended
for governmental entities, British Petroleum and its contractors making
emergency permit application requests pursuant to the Florida Department
of Environmental Protection Emergency Final Order (EFO) OGC No. 10-160,
for proactive measures, restoration, and certain other measures made
necessary by the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.
