Rules and Forms
The Basics
Where can I find information on Florida's air rules, including
regulatory development projects, guidance, and related information?
The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has adopted rules in the Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.) for the control of air pollutant emissions in the state. These rules are updated
through regulatory projects that offer opportunities for public participation.
DEP also implements the federal Clean Air
Act (CAA) in Florida through regulatory
projects that respond to various
requirements of the federal law: in
particular, the requirement that states
develop and update a State Implementation
Plan (SIP) for attaining and maintaining
compliance with national ambient air quality
standards.
