Removal of Unnecessary and Superseded Rules
from SIP
The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is proposing a revision to Florida's State Implementation Plan (SIP). More specifically, DEP is proposing that rules 62-210.100, 62-212.100, 62-297.100, 62-296.407, and 62-296.413, F.A.C., be removed from the SIP. Rules 62-210.100, 62-212.100, and 62-297.100, F.A.C., contain superfluous introductory language that is unnecessary for implementing the Clean Air Act in Florida. Rules 62-296.407 and 62-296.413, F.A.C., are superseded by more stringent federal regulations and are therefore obsolete and unnecessary as part of Florida's SIP.
